Hello! I am a new member of the forum and would like to be connected with some who has a deep knowledge on banana multiplication techniques. The flood of 2012 wiped out my farm and just trying to start afresh. Getting suckers has been very difficult and expensive where available.
Please, contact me on: nwafili4@gmail.com

No indication of where you are from, so it is hard to help you.

You can use macropropagation techniques from corms. You will need to set up a propagation area; and a growout area as the plants will be really small water shoots.

I'll send a pdf or two. I think IITA at Ibadan has expertise on this. I do it all the time. You master the technique rather rapidly. Once you have proper sanitation and a good set of corm bins and grow out; you'll be okay.

I'll email pdfs.

Sincerely,

shannon
