Hi Guys and Gals,
I am from Guyana, SOUTH AMERICA. I want to learn as much as I can about tissue culture especially when it comes to banana and plantain species. I hoping that I can learn from your years of experience in this area. I am new to it but I am interested because here in Guyana the Black Sigatoka disease is killing us. |

Well I am well aware of the fact that some banana species are reistant to the black sigatoka, however, those varities are not popular as a market item and are not even available locally. My approach is to try using meristem tissue culture to produce plants that are disease free., using the same varities that are popular on the market. So anyone who is versed with the technique please assist mw with as info as you can. I would really appreciate it.
