newbie from vandalia,il
hello, my name is Dee,,i live just outside of st.louis to the east..married,,grown children, couple grandchildren and a dog..i have a large yard,,i raise iris,daylilies,elephant ears,spider plants, asparagus, blackberries, gourds,and now banana plants to sell in my small town..my addiction is digging,,and im probally a plant horder
 ..i have a green house that i get to play in durning the winter, and I have this feeling I might be making a shed for these bananas? My 3 yr.old 20ft. plant has its first flower/bananas...now im hoping for a mild fall and late winter..i have a lot to learn,,please be patient with me..see ya dee |

oops,,as I was checking this site and,,i saw that no fertilizers should be used once fruiting has started,,i guess I better go scrape off the 12-12-12 I just threw around it? correct? thanks for the welcoming
