Im hoping they are manzanos since I prefer them over cavendish varieties. I sure wish I had gotten into bananas before... I would have had at least 10 different varieties. Oh well.
Quick question... I noticed your in Miami, FL as well. Where did you get your manzano plant from? I searched every local nursery I could find... but had to resort to purchasing it online.

I also prefer a Manzano over any other Banana fruit .They have a unique, tangy-sweet taste. Much less bland than our common Cavendish type.Some eat them a little bit less brown if you like the tart flavor, but you must wait beyond brown – until the skin is black – for the highest sugar content ,which will give you a fabulous, multi-dimensional bite.
The Manzano variety is not grown here any more,They are Susceptible to Panama Disease.Anyways,your plant is looking good
