Picture Update on Blue Java. The above pics are from 8/5/09, just four days ago and the flower is on flying out! Bare in mind, this is my first banana and my first flower so I really don't know how long it takes to grow.

I would like to know if you guys think the flower looks like Ice Cream 'Blue Java?' I bought it as Ice Cream, and now that it has flowered I would like to know before I start the contest.

And finally, this is a picture from a good distance. You'll have to look closely to see the flower in there.
