Default Re: New 'naners today

i sometimes put a apple inside to hurry up ripening, they release ethylene gas. ..
but on some varieties you need to wait till black on them before they're ripe.. some bananas are good kinda firm and yellow..

here's where i start with banana sandwiches, ice cream, banana bread or muffins.. i have 2 kids and they love the rajas and we went thru 93 fruits in 2 weeks. cooked some green ones this years in oil, tasted like french fries.. cooked yellow ones in butter with brown sugar and tasted like french toast with syrup..
