According to FL Agricultural publications Pisang Mas and Nino are the same AA cultivar.
I have both "Nino" and "Glui Kai", from different sources, and they seem to be the same plant in growth habit, "morphologically", and rate. They do not like direct sun for the whole day, and partial shade seems to be prefered by the plants.
Chong, I also started out with 18 from AgrSt and considering your more adverse growing conditions you are doing better than I. I'm down to 6, plus the Nino from a different source.
This data supports the findings of Richard and Chong.
