ill tell u what if u hit that coon and dont kill it your gonna be in a world of hurt they are very mean and they will come after you especially if they have babies and they can really tear some **** up plus u will have to go to the hospital and get tested for rabies i would just trap them and shoot them or dround them like u are doing i seen coons kill big dogs already people around me use dogs to hunt them like they do bear and most of the time if the dogs dont tree them right away one coon will take on the whole pack and tear the dogs up bad and kill at least one or two in the process just watch out they will stand there ground they wont run from u!!!!
