Default Re: Two theoretical M. itinerans var. xishuangbannensis corms

Theoretically, are they certain that they have M. itinerans var. 'Xishuangbannaensis'?

Since these are not a patented name or plant, you should be able to TC one and grow the other.

As for getting them to grow, I would let them remain dormant for the winter and plant them in the spring. There are several threads about growing a corm here. A lot will depend upon the condition on arrival, your zone, when you get them, etc.

There are a few of us who will TC it for you, if you like. This is not a commercial TC, just to put your mind at ease. This will give your seller peace of mind and you will be giving yourself every opportunity to assure yourself of having one make it, theoretically speaking of course.
