Are you kidding????? Move south??? With a new granddaughter, do you think that'll happen if my wife has anything to say about it? OK, well, maybe another greenhouse(s), which in fact my wife has been egging me to get. But dang it, work keeps getting in the way. And I can't even keep my house projects going.

But kidding aside, my wife actually liked Palm Beach County, especially Del Rey Beach, when we were there for the hurricane recovery efforts in 2004-2005. But I could tell that she was just accommodating me, and she was missing the kids/grandkids all the time. She wasn't complaining or anything like that. But I could tell that was homesick a lot.

We did try to move last year, to CA and then Vegas, but at my level, it's not easy to keep busy, or even try to look busy, when there's not much work to do. The worst part is after talking to clients and satisfying their requirements, the person in my company that used to do the work with them would really look bad because I can tend to make their problems sound so simple. And then, the more clients ask for my services, the more I get alienated from the people that I worked with, who were there ahead of me. It's as if I'm saying bad things about them. It's not easy working in a place where you're always treated like an outsider.

Thanks for the suggestions.
