I would leave the corm in one piece and rooted so that it remains healthy . If you let the plantlets grow on long enough they will seperate themselves from the corm and each other . A weekly fertilizer spray will help things along.
And if you get vinegar gnats ,fungi ,mold, and it looks like things are through, thats when it all starts shaping up.
It would be great to see some members brave this on the more hard to find Ensetes.
