Default Re: Musa Balbisiana Maurelli burning up

Why don't you run to goodwill, etc and get an old sheer curtain and a few sticks and rig up some temp shade for it? If you've just moved it to that location a little temp shade would probably do it good, and if it wasn't hardened off first after taking from a greenhouse, like one you've received in the mail, then those leaves will probably burn off and new ones will grow that are used to being outdoors anyway....
It's just like putting a houseplant from the house out into full sun, how the leaves will scorch. It's best to acclimate them to being outdoors in a shaded place protected from wind for a week, and then plant them in their final location, a process known as "hardening off".
