One was a guy in SC, another Georgia, Florida. I just googled something in words of like my title. They had fruit on their plants. Could be a shock response too from all the trimming. For instance here agaves will all a sudden be shooting flower stalks in spring. It’s not normal for plants in random peoples yard to start blooming the same with these plants. In the desert or tropics it would be normal behavior of course.
