The only thing I found on google was this:

"According to experts around five percent of bananas can grow into 'double fingers' but most are discarded. While double bananas are understood to be very rare, in extremely rare cases four finger bananas can grow."

It doesn't spell out if a double banana can show on a bunch or is the whole bunch double bananas. I'm hoping Gabe, PR-Giants, etc can give some more info.
