I'm open to that... but, the fruit looks different and it seems like a selection or cultivar from a time gone by. I really can't put much faith in wikipedia for plants that are niche as even local nursery "experts" know less. If you look at plant websites for even a short time it is easy to see that many who should know what they are talking about in fact do not know. I'd love to try this cultivar and find out for myself. I've grown 20-25 types many that were called duplicates of other better known varieties and they worked out much better. I've been growing bananas for 15+ years now and in a marginal climate, 9b.
