Maybe your's and mine are siblings (of sorts). Beautiful plant you have. Those guys do get some bad press and rightfully so, but I am 5 for 6 with them with the only casualty a double mahoi that was doomed from the start. The package spent 2 weeks bouncing around from post office to post office. The Ensete and whatever I have in this post (we'll call it a Nam Java) did great. My only issue with them is after a few attempts to get a replacement plant I gave up due to zero response. Conversely Ted @ Green Earth sent me a Basjoo that just was hopeless and immediately sent me out a very fine replacement. There's your difference.
