Too much water! ... The soil picture appears to contain too much peat. You need a very fast drain potting soil. Use a commercial potting mix and add 50% perlite for a 50/50 mix. Make sure the pots drain and the excess water is discarded. Repot the plant with the top of the corm at the soil surface.
