I have a question.
Can someone please answer? I have a 3rd pot of bananas that is ready to bust out of the 30-gallon pot. It was the first day of fall yesterday and we need to move it into the greenhouse for the winter.
Is it OK to divide in the fall? We have always divided in the spring. We did not divide this past spring and 2 of the 3 are producing fruit. The one I am talking about was the one I was sure would bloom this year because it is the biggest of the 3 potted bananas.
If we divide now, could it still produce fruit this fall or early winter?
On another note the "twins" are changing every day. One thing I am sure of is there will be less fruit. Generally we get 7 hands And I have been told that is good.
