If you were farming commercially you would avoid getting banana planting material from AgriStarts to begin with. But do you what would you do in terms of management, or in terms of propagation?

You can prune off the unwanted suckers, better to do it early and often, and no need to have done in a way they are transplantable.

If you're trying to propagate, you can do it more carefully and keep them, but if I was growing these commercially (which I am, actually), and I had these tall plants mixed in, I would not propagate from them. I would remove all the off-types and replace with true-to-type plants.
