Difference between growing a variety and producing fruit from a variety. Dwarf Cavendish grows awesome here. I never see a flower because it freezes to the ground. You can't define short cycle to make a short cycle list based on one season because at that point the list would not be universal because not everyone has the same seasonal conditions. I think short cycles are sort of expected to be a little more for everyone to produce fruit instead of waiting and hoping the cold does not get it first.
