Default PR Morado, PR Verdin, Tigua and ARH Plantain Update!

*****Update!*****

After almost 2 years for been trans-planted on the ground, PR Morado and PR Verdin are flowering!....

Kumunamba = Tigua is flowering!....Tigua took exactly 9 months from trans-planted to the ground to flowering!....Its remarkable for the size of Tigua to grow that fast comparing to other 'nanas varieties!....
There is an evaluation/study done years ago that mentioned Kumunamba as one of the best to grow in our conditions in South Florida!...

PR Morado, PR Verdin and Tigua are big, tall 'nana plants!...Approx. 14 to 15 ft. tall at flowering!....

*****Also, I'm one of the first forum members (maybe not the first one) to flower any of these 'nana varieties (PR Verdin, Tigua, PR Morado) in Continental US!.....A very nice accomplishment!*****

All pictures taken on April 29, 2017!.....

TARS PR Cuerno De Alce (ARH Plantain)....Baseball bats!....LOL....Keeps fill-in really nice!....

Musa PR Morado!....Very beautiful plant!.....Part of the red family 'nana variety (cold sensitive)!.....

Musa PR Verdin!....Also, part of the red family 'nana variety (cold sensitive)!....What a beauty!....

Musa Kumunamba = Tigua!....Definitely a "monster grower!"....Also, a very beautiful 'nana plant!....

Thank you for seeing the thread!.....

*****An update is coming soon!*****
