They're composting to make beds much as I did over clay--I didn't dig and they can't--I'm quite certain you can do the same darned thing over sand--just need a place to test my theories. (Before you say I'm wrong like every other person here does including the AG agents, tell me why you're trying to grow broccoli in May here--it's iffy up north by June because it's a cool season crop. Sheesh!)
