If you feel determined and crazy enough, you could try building a quick little temporary greenhouse over it for the winter so you can possibly get fruit. Get a wood frame going on the bottom, perhaps some PVC hoops, some clear plastic over top, and for extra insulation, some people even use a second layer of plastic or a good layer of bubble wrap. Also christmas lights are a good heat emitter, and a tank such as an aquarium of water helps soak heat by day and release it by night.
