At this early stage of growth with the tissue culture plants nitrogen is probably most needed.
My one probably from the same Tully source is doing well with the 10-2-22 DPI recommended fertilizer growing in sth Queensland .
Sometimes this growth habit is the result of a lot of rain bringing on a growth spurt and the leaf can't unfurl quick enough.
Extra nitrogen should help the plant keep up with itself.
