Musa basjoo hole size?
This spring, I planted several musa basjoos around my garden, & they all are growing pretty well! My question is, just how big a hole do you guys recommend for growing a healthy, tall, pup-forming clump of basjoos? I dug a hole right around 3 feet wide and 16 inches deep for each individual basjoo, & was hoping that size was big enough for them. So far, my 3-inch tall starters I planted in march are now 3 feet tall, forming pups at their bases, but after having seen the sheer size of some basjoos around town, i was hoping my 3 foot wide, 16 inch deep holes were enough to accomodate that kind of vigorous growth!
