What is the caliper of the fruiting pstem at 1 ft up from the ground?

Plantain chips, or tostones, from totally unripe is a great way to go. Then you can eat ripe ones later.

Personally, I say "yuk" - a cooking banana is a cooking banana. Those members that said they like ripe Orinoco made me queasy talking about it. People who grew up with eating these, like me, don't break the rules.

A goofy expression I made up is "Yo me embarfo" since I understand but don't speak Spanish.
