Are you sure that word written on the label is supposed to refer to the cultivar name? Names are not really important in terms of ID'ing plants, and just finding a seemingly random word on a label doesn't mean that it's the cultivar name of the plant. If you can take a few photos of the plant and post them here, it might be distinguishable enough that we can tell what it is without trying to decode a label.

As far as finding out about culture information, the type of banana really doesn't matter too much in your case. If it's going to be an indoor potted plant, look up information about any indoor potted bananas to get started on the right track.
