They are different.I did get ripe fruit last year with very few seed and pulp.The fruit was more yellow than Fredericks. From what I understand most Edulis Hybrid are a combination of Edulis Sims and Edulis Flavicarpa,so the plant from seed could take the characteristics from either one.Maybe this year I will get a fruit with enough pulp so I can taste it.I also have seedlings from seedlings no flowers yet
