Yeah the wasp love my yard, I would imagine that if I had not banana plants that they would be under the eves of my house again. I usually have to leave a few dead leaves on my Sabas since I don't have a bucket truck to reach a cutting point. That's where they love it, in the folds of the old dead leaves, I usually just shoot the water hose at them from a good distance till it weakens the nest enough to drop or knock down.

A few years ago, I had one of those brown ghinea wasps nail me on the nose, boy them babies HURT!!!, but my wife could'nt help but laugh as I was running around in the yard with a chainsaw running in my hand and a wasp on my nose screamming like a possesd woman.
