I thought that big pseudostem belongs to your Ice Cream,that why i asked! Its quite big!
What about under those brown leaf bases? Thats where rot was hiding on my Namwah,under those but inside ''live'',mushy leafbases,not the dried ones. But i could feel that even from above the dried ones,when i gently squeezed,it would feel like fluid moving away from the area i pressed on as the compartments of the leaf base were mush and not supporting the structure of the leaf base,as normal...I bet the grabs/worms i found inside the mushy leaf bases,were helping spread the rot faster...
