Default A couple of bananas were split, why?

A couple of fingers of my Dwf. Cavendish were split as shown in the photo.
Although this is my first experience in my banana life, one of my banana
friends told me he had exactly the same experience.
I honestly don't know the reason why, while I suspect it would be somehow
related with over watering.
Does anyone on the forum have the same case and know why?
