Tracy's High School Band
 

Hi, proud father reporting here about daughter Tracy's high school marching band (Mt Carmel HS, San Diego CA). They went to the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Arizona to compete in both the Field Show and the Parade. Took 1st place in the parade and a very close 2nd in the Field Show -- just 0.05 points short of a 1st place tie.

Being a Former HS band "Geek'...
Makes me miss the thrill of the show!!
We marched 119 plus flags, dance team & rifles...
Percussion ON the field!!! :drum:

Awesome in the day!!! I know our former Band Director has tape somewhere...

Still can play all the tunes from memory...

Great show! Thanks for the video! My HS band did the same at the Gator Bowl (1st in parade, 2nd in field show) in Jacksonville FL, my senior year. A very fond memory. I know how much work goes into a great show! Congrats to Tracy!:woohoonaner:

Congrats to Tracy and her bandmates! I too was a member of my high school marching band. We were invited to the Mardi Gras in N.O. for the parade. What a trip! Always glad I stayed with it, as the band isn't the most macho thing in high school. :ha:
