If you like optical illusions this is a pretty good one. As long as you continue to stare at the dot the buildings will be in color, the second you look away from the dot they go back to black and white. Watch the dot until the bar fills all the way.

It changes by itself whether I look at the dot or not.

Patty, the image changes back and forth, but it never looks normal until you stare at the dot. Wait until it looks like a color negative with a empty bar at the bottom(no words), then start staring at the dot until the little bar on the bottom goes all the way across. At that point it will change to a black and white photo but your eyes will see the picture in true colors as long as you keep staring at the dot. After a few seconds it will restart again.

Well, that's indicative that you have an uncurable, inoperable disease and are going to die in less than a week. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news. LOL...j/k j/k! It works better for some than others. And it works better for me at other times even. It kinda depends on how big the image is, how much of your periphery is included when you're looking at it and the white surface you use to view the afterimage.

Such cool pics! Bryan, I see the flag now...it was my very slow puter. And, I didn't stare at the dot long enough (before ) to see the buildings change. DUH

Bryan - It's a Ptarmigan, brown in the summer, and white in the winter. This one was in between. Picture taken in Alaska.
