The recent lava flow where I live has advanced further in 8 weeks than the last two flow events did in over a year. It is less than 2 miles from homes and farm land and has the potential to cut off the only road out for about 10,000 people, including myself. Life on a volcano. Yikes!

I shot these pictures of ice on the trees last winter. We had some really epic ice storms last year.
