Re: Insomnia Thread...

I didn't get it yet, Janan!

I'm eating a gingerbread cookie and trying to write out a Christmas card for my grandparents. I wanna make sure it gets there on time.

It's raining here but it's super mild for this time of year. They're saying we might have a green Christmas!

I wouldn't be upset if we didn't get snow at all! :ha:

Its been raining here also, its almost like we have the same weather! :ha::ha::ha:

I spent all day after school pretty much playing the two games I got with your itunes card :) I still have plenty left for new games if more come out I want :)

This graalclassic game is addicting :ha::ha::ha: Same with Final Fantasy III

One of my mimosa pudica seeds are coming up :D that was fast!

We celebrate Christmas on Christmas day, this year will probably only be my moms side of the family though. After my dads mom falling and everything.

My dad is going to North Carolina to visit her on the 18th and she is being taken the Grand Rapids Michigan so we can visit her when she starts feeling better.

Last final tomorrow, and it's forensics, which is an easy A. Can't wait to finally be done! I'm going to laser tag with some of my friends to celebrate.

So glad you are enjoying the games you got with the card, Jordan. Bob was glad to hear you could use it.

I've been on the phone for awhile. It was ringing off the hook.

I was watching Child's Play last night in bed on my iPad. Love that movie.

Yeah Cam, its because we have bad owners here that keep renting to riff raff types. Don't worry, I will be moving soon. :D

I was trying to get a shot of something I'll show you guys soon...

I had this made, in memory of my brother at Christmas time...

The engraving was free. I just got it yesterday. 2003 was the year of his death. My mom had one made with her three grandchildren's names on them.

Guess people are gone to bed. It's getting late. Chat tomorrow...

Hi everyone. I'll post pictures of the necklace during christmas. Right now I have a few necklaces, one is a silver dragon and the other( which is my favorite) is my eye necklace. Janan I hope you have a wonderful early Christmas. My mom and sister have been a little down for some reason. I have been trying to cheer them up. Sherry that is a beautiful ornament for your brother.

Re: Insomnia Thread...

Thanks, Cam. I really like it too.

It's rainy and sucky here today. Going out later this afternoon...with my umbrella. :ha:

Wow, Christmas is right around the corner now! I'm nearly ready.

My mom's is trying to find a pair of winter boots that have good support in them so we're gonna go shopping for them this evening. I already have my winter boots but I'm looking for a purple scarf.

We've been lucky with hardly any snow. I love it. :D

Hope everyone has a great Thursday. :waving:

Its been really rainy and dreary here the past couple of days. We need the rain though.

Re: Insomnia Thread...

I'd rather have rain than snow any day! :ha:

Hi gang. :waving:

How was your Christmas celebration, Janan?

The mandatory fun was OK - lots of driving. Tomorrow is our early Christmas with my daughter and son in law here at our house. But Mrs. Claus is pooped and I hope I can get to sleep. I am excited for tomorrow but I am so tired from today. :)

Re: Insomnia Thread...

Good morning everyone. I got another amaryllis today lol. It was 50% off since most had bloomed in the boxes. I currently have 4 different types. Me and my mom and sister went to game stop at the mall and it was very very crowded there. Its an outdoor mall

Good Morning!

You'll have to show us your Amaryllis plants, Cam. They sound lovely.

So I have a new pet now! :goteam: It's not a fish or a new bird though. I wasn't ready for another bird yet. I'll post shots in the pet thread shortly...

Who's around today?

Willow87 12-18-2011 10:36 AM

Re: Insomnia Thread...

Its a variety called BestSeller. Its a raspberry color amaryllis. All of the amaryllis plants were 50% off. I wonder what new pet you have:goteam:

I just posted shots in the pet thread...

Raspberry sounds so nice! Looking forward to seeing the blooms later.

Re: Insomnia Thread...

I love your little froggies. I had one of those several years ago, but he disappeared. Me and my sister would always fight over his name. She called him "Kermit" and I called him "Frogger" I think my new amaryllis has a flowerbud peeking out of the bulb

The Hollyberry Lady 12-18-2011 11:06 AM

Re: Insomnia Thread...

Thanks about my little frogs. I really like them. I got them at...

I like the colored stones too...

People were buying them like crazy and one lady told me she already had some but was back for more! She's part of the reason why I got them because she said they are terrific and fun to watch. She's had her little guys for a year already and got another kit for her and her niece!

The kits are 40 bucks and then 5 bucks for a year's supply of food. In the new year, I'm going to transfer my frogs into a much bigger container with more things in it so they won't be cramped and bored.

I bet you're excited about your Amaryllis buds about to bloom, Cam. I used to grow them all the time and loved them. I still have one but it hasn't bloomed in a while. It just doesn't get the light that it used to but one day I will make it bloom again. It's called "Charisma".

Re: Insomnia Thread...

I know they are very popular here. But I haven't seen them for sale anymore at Petsmart. All of my amaryllis plants haven't gone dormant. I had a few planted in the yard but I dug them up because I didn't want to take a chance of losing them, though one woman around here leaves hers in the ground all year long. I'm going to look for St. Joseph's lily amaryllis because its the most cold hardy one. I think it can be grown outdoors to zone 6

The Hollyberry Lady 12-18-2011 06:07 PM

Re: Insomnia Thread...

They've never sold the frogs at our PetSmart stores. Only Green Earth sells them here.

I've never seen that cold-hardy Amaryllis Cam...what color is it?
