It is called 'Banana Joe'.
There are some other clips and better soundtrack.

Thanks for posting, I found myself looking at the plants in the background as much as the movie. I wish I'd seen it when you first posted but.....rough summer schedule. Does everyone shower fully clothed and shampoo with a hat on in the tropical banana belt? The boat reminded me of the original "Creature of the Black Lagoon".
