A Halloween Story...

Hello Pumpkin Pals:

This thread will be a spooky Halloween story where you contribute 5-15 words at a time. Please keep it making sense, and edit if you need to. I am hoping this will be like a real story, and turn out kind of cool. Let's see how scary we can make it. I will begin...
