Bah. Part of my problem is that I'm constantly translating back and forth between Spanish and English, and in Ecuador bamboos are considered to be hardwoods. (So I think "Madiera de bambu" and out comes "bentwood" when what I really mean is bentgrass.)

Things you learn everyday about people around you.....amazing simply amazing. If I had 2% the talent and nature of either of you, I would probably have an ignorant amount of stress reduced through expressive outlet.

But isn't stress relief why you play the drums, Shaggy? It's why I play the banjo.

It is true I do play for me, but I also stress myself out with it as well. Also, since the birth of my 2 kids in the last 2 years and all my home projects, play time has dwindled down to maybe 2 hours a week. That will change over time but right now its next to nil. I have been trying to pick some things up on my electric bass, but same as above next to nil. Kinda sad when I go to work to get some relaxation......

Thanks much for all the information on banana paper. I'm bumping the thread so I can find it a tad easier and study it some more, as time permits.
