Save your Envy until I actually harvest some mangoes.
Only growing a couple types of mango, Kent, Mallika, Southern Blush, Nam Doc Mai #4, Po Pyu Kalay, Lemon Zest and 2 Coconut Creams.

Maybe a few fruit this year, hopefully all up hill from there.

Consider how most of the winter storms in the continental US begin in the north Pacific Ocean and often in the bay of Alaska, then proceed somewhat diagonally across the US - sometimes ending up in Florida or The Gulf. (Yes, this time of year many also go horizontal across the Midwest.) Notice that these storms have little or no effect on populated areas (lower elevation) of southern California, and yet San Diego is at the same latitude as Mason Georgia! So latitude is not the only factor.

Now consider just how far north southern California is from the equator: Quito Ecuador is about on the equator and quite a long distance from San Diego. But - the distance from Quito to the southern tip of South America is the same as the distance from Quito to Anchorage Alaska.
