I got some good stuff in the mail this week.
![]() Today I got an orchid: ![]() And seven pots of lithops: ![]() Yesterday I got a motherload of carnivorous plants. Four kind of venus fly trap, typical: ![]() ![]() Red dragon: ![]() Big Mouth: ![]() Dentate: ![]() Three kinds of nepenthes (tropical pitcher plants), ventricosa: ![]() Ampullaria: ![]() Bicalcarata (my favorite): ![]() And a bunch of tiny sarracenia (temperate pitcher plants) seedlings, of some unknown hybrid. ![]() I am in a happy plant place right now. So many plants! |

Re: Lithops, fly traps, and pitcher plants (photo heavy)
Hi Spark, nice shot and stuff. I really love the Lithops but they just die here due to the humidity even if I don't water them. The Venus can't take the heat too.... See, I have problems with plants too even though I am in the tropics.
Now coming to the Nepenthes....haha... they grow like weeds. There are 11 species here in M'sia. I really like the dracula teeth of the Nepenthes bicalcarata...real cool! Did you managed to get the Nepenthes truncata from the Philippines? This one has big pitchers and does not run like a vine. More pix please! |

I don't have very many neps yet, the only ones I've got not shown here are some ventratas. They're not so happy with my climate so I have to grow them inside on the windowsill. The fly traps, on the other hand, love it outside.
