Default Ideas on how to deter cats from eating palms

Our two house cats have been nibbling on the tips of my palm leaves ever since I brought them indoors last week. Any ideas on how to stop this without chemicals that would hurt the cats or the plants?

Sounds like a job for some habanero pepper tea!
Unlike some dogs I know, cats never seem to get to liking hot sauce.

PetSmart carries a product called "Bitter Yuck"
It is water based; active ingredient is Rosemary and is safe for use on plants. I spray plants and my cats avoid them...Good Luck!
