How to fertilize a pineapple
Can anyone tell me what's the best way to fertilize it. Can I spray it with
a liquid fertilizer solution. And if so do I have to spray it every day? And, is the pot size important or doesn't it need a big pot. It is inside the house during the winter. Thanks Ron |

I'm pretty sure from reading on the net that the farm raised are fed via the root system and that they are heavy feeders. That's the way I feed mine. I water them mostly by hosing down the leaves like any other bromeliad though. I'm sure you could feed by spraying the leaves too but I have no clue what mixture or how often.
