I must've missed something.

What do the banana bucks do?

It says 'how many times said thanks' or something, which says zero - what doe that mean?

I guess I've never paid attention to that stuff below my name. Is there...a thread somewhere that explains it? I looked and saw nothing.

This message you are reading ... down at the bottom left there is a button labeled "Thanks". When you press it on someone's message, it is a quick way to say thank you, rather than posting a response with simply "thank you". In your user control panel options you can turn on or off the feature that has an email sent to you when someone says thanks.

Personally, if someone has gone to the trouble to post a photo, I like to give 'em a thanks. Growin' 'nanners is a visual kind of thing; without photos it would be nowhere near as interesting.

Also, if someone has directly answered a question I posed, it is good form to give 'em a 'thanky kindly'
