Re: Patty in Wisc
I cant believe it. Rest in Peace Patty, you will be missed greatly by us all. This really was very sad to hear. :(

Re: Patty in Wisc
Wow ! How sad. I have been missing Patty posting. I noticed that she was not posting. Patty was so nice to me. When I was in the hospital she sent me messagges and cards. She kept my address from the postcard thread we use to do. She was a very kind lady. I miss her very much. So sad.

Re: Patty in Wisc
I'm in shock to hear this awful news. Patty was such a sweet and nice lady, and invited me to her house when I was going to be visiting Milwaukee, although we never managed to get together. She always had such a great love for plants, and joking around. I'll miss her kind comments to everyone, and her email jokes.
Such terrible news! My heart goes out to her family and fiance Mike. |
Re: Patty in Wisc
Mitchel, as requested, I posted the note from Patty's mom on the citrus forum. Thanks for sharing.

Re: Patty in Wisc
That is so unfortunate, I will plant a banana in honor of her name. :)

I heard the terrible news a few days ago...
So glad we all had a chance to get to know her. I'm sure gonna miss her posts. Makes having her prize Roger Meyer Dragonfruit even more special. Thanks, Patty. ;) Always alive in our hearts forever. : ( |
Re: Patty in Wisc

Re: Patty in Wisc
I am so sorry for her family's loss, and for the loss to this Banana family. We will miss you, Patty!!!!

Re: Patty in Wisc
I've made a resolution "no more bananas!", otherwise I'd take you up on that. I've got about 25 varieties as it is and hope to have a good freeze that wipes out most of them since I don't seem to be able to show much discipline on my own. My jungle looks pretty cool right now but will get ugly soon enough when Jack Frost visits.

Re: Patty in Wisc
awwww... that is a shame.. I'd take your extras... but I'm running out of inside space... Thing I love about this little thing.. it doesn't take up much room..
