Merci d'avance.

[quote=shouya;320994]Hello everyone,
I have at my disposal old manure, vermiculite, quality potting soil. Could you tell me the perfect mix? I also have straw flax. I have potted bananas that suffer because I put a substrate too compact. The roots are suffocating ... Thank you in advance/QUOTE] There are some good Youtube videos on how to make the perfect mix. And you will find many opinions on what the perfect mix is. Pick and choose what is in your budget and what works for you You have the basic ingredients,,,,just change the ratios to make the soil lighter. Also do a forum search keywords soiless mix. The topic has been discussed before in detail and you can take away some good ideas. I use as a starter base of peatmoss,perlite and pine fines and then alter the ratios of the ingredients to fit the plants requirements.You may add other amendments like sand and charcoal to customize your mix. Check out some photos of what works for me. You might take away some ideas. Have fun! Soilless mix Container size |
