Default Fruiting Potted Dwarf Cavendish
I have a potted dwarf cavendish fruiting this year. Was looking on what advice I could get as far as fertilization during the fruiting process. First time I've had one of mine fruit.

Just keep fertilizing like normal. The plant is using a lot of energy to develope and then fill out the fruit.

There's no need for fertilizer during the fruiting phase. The main nutrient needed is going to continue to be water. During the vegetative phase the plant stores the necessary nutrients in the underground stem called the rhizome.

Thanks so much. I wasn't sure if I needed to do some fertilization that was a little heavier on potassium during the fruiting phase. Living in NC I get about 8 months of growing season but have been working on timing the last couple of years to have enough time for fruiting. This Cavendish was actually the first banana I got a few years ago before I found the forum. I'll just keep it watered good.
