need a little help this plant is suppose to be a apple,plenty of water full sun all day planted about two months ago.It has been growing very slowly and is now producing about on leaf a week.the leaves turn brown a few days after opening could this be to much sun this is my first apple any thoughts thank Banana Gallery - P7230004_2

that doesn't look like a manzano. It looks like something zebrina-ish. Bordelon, zebrina, rojo, rowe red.

It is definitely not the Manzano-type mainland banana, but I am not familiar with the coloration of the Hawaiian Apple banana. It sure has a lot of red in the pstem and midrib.
