Have three container bananas that are / WERE doing GREAT then came out today and found one kind of toppled over about 1/2 way up. Seems like some sort of rot then noticed one of the others has a girdling look to around its base very concerned, not sure what's going on. has been VERY hot the last few weeks have been watering every 3 to 4 days.

I can't give much help without seeing some pictures of the plants. How big are the plants? Where are you located?

I had that happen for the first time. I dissected the plants and found catterpillars inside similar to sod worms. I fed them off to my chicken.
