looking for a real blue java- purchase, trade or gift

Hello All,

If you wanna trade check out what we have at www.plantingjustice.org/shop. Happy to trade any of our stock and have other grafted stuff and fun stuff not yet on there.

I am building a banana mother collection for a really cool nonprofit nursery in Oakland, Ca that employs youth and people coming home from prison. I have tried numerous times to get a blue java and I keep getting Namwas, even though I am told I am getting a blue java.

Happy to purchase a few or trade, corms are fine etc. Also if you are looking to share your collection with a social justice cause this is a great project: plantingjustice.org

Agristarts started the misnaming of their Tall Namwah plant and started calling it "Ice Cream" and have also stated it's Blue Java, which it IS NOT. Myself and several others have grown out their "ice Cream" and it is NOT blue Java. The only way to get a real Blue Java Ice Cream Banana plant is by knowing someone. Such as Myself.
I get a few pups a year and they go very quickly, which is why I have a waiting list.

Hi I’m going to be removing some blue Java,ice cream soon. I am interested in trading. I did not see any bananas on your website, is that correct or did I do something wrong. Thanks

we have dwarf green and LACATAN on the website. I also have dwarf Cavendish and orinoco too and some other stuff as I build the collection that's not online. email me max@plantingjustice.org for a trade.

You might want to get your Blue Java Ice Cream Banana trays from Liner Source. They're a member here and messaged me that they "have initiated the real Java blue/Ice cream".

you might want to let linersource know the musa photos appear to be mis labelled
i could be wrong but it looks like a photo of dwarf greens is labelled dwarf cav and vice versa
not good optics
