Mine totally is NOT the biggest....but it's just over 6' to the tips of the leaves (in a pot too LOL). I kinda wonder how big they get too. I heard like 8 feet or so.

I'm curious about this too. This banana has been available for a few years now, right? Surely someone has one that fruited by now?

to date theres no official record of one having ever bloomed
Found in the wild in Indonesia, 2005 but research indicated that it originated in Papua New Guinea it is almost certainly a wild subspecies of Musa acuminata, such as M. acuminata ssp. Tapo or something similar. ts been purported by natives to have a sweet unseeded fruit But to date there have been no studies done to prove this it reaches a mature hight of 8ft to 10ft PS Eric my Siam Ruby isn't vary big only about 3ft its ruffly 1.3 years old the secret to rapid growth in the plant are temps in the 90s they love heat and sun so if your bring it inside to grow find a hot place but away from heater vents they don't like hot Air blowing on them

Mine is only about 4' I picked it up mid summer and it's grown over a foot since. I'll try to get pics up this afternoon, it's all red and has only shown variegation on one leaf so far. It recently pushed up 5 pups in a 3 week period.

Well, since there are no pics so far, I'll post a couple of mine (and hope others will do the same). I kinda doubt mine is the 'biggest' of all the members' here, but it's growing very fast. I've had it 4 months now and the tip of the leaves are just over 6' tall (well, it's in a pot, so you can probably take off about a foot of that for 'cheating' LOL).
And a close-up of the pups...there are 3 now (one on the back isn't visible in this pic)

My plant (pictured to the left) is about 6 ft tall and wide. That picture was taken back on July 9. I'd update the picture but there really isn't much point because it looks exactly the same as it did back then, more or less.

Here's a pic of mine from 6-7 weeks ago,it's potted now, didn,t want to shock it late in the season by digging it up and bringing it inside.I am keeping it in shade until I bring it in,hopefully it will like it inside in some sun after being out in fall weather and shade-anyway,enough talk-here it is-
